I'm amazed at the blessing of living where I do. The mountains sit to the west and then there is an abundance of wildlife that I see both at the "studio" a few miles away AND at my house. Coyote, hawk, owl, water fowl, elk, even moose and so many others. Just the other day I was able to snap the attached picture of a bald eagle sitting in a tree off a running trail behind my home. As an artist, the blessing of viewing nature at work, doing its thing, brings me peace. Moments like these are inspiring and motivate me to sculpt, to create and mimic the scenes I stubble upon and am grateful to be surrounded by.
